It may be recalled that the Rawalpindi Express set a world record on 22 February 2003 against England in Cape Town by bowling the fastest in international cricket at a speed of 161.3 km per hour.

According to foreign media, the comment on breaking the bowling record by the former speed came at a time when Indian speed star Imran Malik from Occupied Kashmir has made his mark in the current season of IPL.

Imran Malik is representing Sun Riser Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League while he has bowled at a speed of 157 kmph.

“Before this feat, I was told that both my knees were injured, but I took the risk and broke the record. Shoaib’s fastest delivery record is almost 20 years old,” he said.
